Nike recently unveiled the Air Max 1000, marking their first venture into 3D-printed sneakers through a collaboration with Zellerfeld, a German printing company. Limited pairs were made available at ComplexCon, where visitors could also place preorders for an all-red model in a fun slot machine format. The upcoming release is set for Spring 2025 and features tonal styles in blue, white, orange, and black, the last of which uniquely includes a Volt green Air bag. The shoes boast a rubbery texture similar to the foam used in adidas’ YZY Foam Runner, while highlighting a modern design that aims to innovate comfort and style. Previous reports suggested that this shoe would introduce cutting-edge technology to the classic Air Max lineage, and anticipation around Nike’s innovative approach remains high as the Spring release looms.
