Nike has been actively revamping their Kobe lineup following a new agreement with Vanessa Bryant in 2022. This initiative continues with the upcoming release of the “Black Lightning” Kobe 6 Protro slated for Fall 2025. The Kobe 6 has significantly expanded this year, focusing on both new and classic colorways in Nike’s Protro format. Recently, the emphasis has been on launching various styles of the Kobe 6, which remains a fan-favorite. The “Black Lightning” variant is expected to showcase a predominantly black base complemented by Lightning and University Gold accents, along with hints of Volt green. Although no physical pairs have surfaced yet, mockup images suggest an exciting design. Nike anticipates making these available through its main channels as well as select retailers, maintaining the standard price point that typically surrounds their high-profile releases.
