Nike is set to release a special edition of the Dunk Low inspired by the legendary CBGB music venue in New York City, which played a crucial role in the punk rock movement until its closure in 2006. This Dunk Low variant honors the club’s rich history with a design featuring a light grey leather base adorned with worn metallic silver overlays, complemented by Cave Stone brown accents. The Nike branding echoes the iconic CBGB logo, and the shoe features a unique printed stickered insole to complete the tribute. Although there is no official release date yet, it is anticipated to launch in Spring 2025 with a suggested retail price of $130. This release continues Nike’s tradition of commemorating historic places and events in the brand’s home city, aligning with previous releases that have celebrated various aspects of New York culture.
