The Air Jordan 1 Elevate pays homage to Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker while adding its own unique twist. While it strays from the original silhouette’s DNA, it still manages to capture the legacy of the iconic Air Jordan 1.

Taking inspiration from some of the Peter Moore-designed sneaker’s most iconic colorways, the Air Jordan 1 Elevate now looks back to Jordan’s days at Chapel Hill. The “Dark Powder Blue” accents on the Swoosh, toe box, collar, and outsole pay tribute to the signature colors of the Tar Heels. The rest of the sneaker is dressed in clean white, from the leather upper to the midsole and lace unit.

Sneakerheads can look forward to the UNC-esque Air Jordan 1 Elevate dropping soon on Nike.com and in stores. While we patiently wait for the release, let’s take a closer look at the official images.

In other news, it has been announced that another exciting collaboration is in the works. A Ma Maniere and Air Jordan are teaming up for an Air Jordan 4 release in Fall 2024, so mark your calendars.
