Not only has he been a fixture on the sidelines of their biggest games and even joined their pre-game lay-up lines, but he has also gone as far as creating exclusive player editions (PEs) for their legendary head coach, John Calipari.

Now, with the launch of his own line of signature footwear and apparel, Drake has found a more personal way to express his love for the Wildcats. He recently gifted the entire men’s basketball team a special version of the Nike NOCTA Glide, customized specifically for the program and featuring their iconic royal blue and white color scheme. Adding a vibrant touch, a bright university yellow can be seen on the traction pods of the outsoles, while the UK logo proudly sits inside one of the midsole pods on the lateral side.

Given that the NOCTA Glide is inspired by the classic Zoom Flight 95, it is undoubtedly designed for on-court performance. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the players lace up these kicks for an actual game, so keep your eyes peeled this season for a potential appearance of the Drake-endorsed footwear on the hardwood.
