In a sneaker world filled with endless collaborations, Jordan Brand proves their commitment to reissuing iconic designs from the past. This time, they’re bringing back the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shadow” next summer, as reported by zsneakerheadz and brandon1an.
Just like its recent releases of “University Red” and “Atmosphere Grey,” this OG version stays true to its roots with a faithful recreation of the 1985 silhouette. The shoe features a luxurious tumbled leather upper and a sleek construction. The dominant color scheme remains black, mirroring the original high-top version. Even the tongue, laces, inner lining, and outsole maintain the pitch-dark aesthetic. To add a touch of contrast, a clean white midsole beautifully highlights the “Shadow Grey” hues on the vamp, heel counter, and profile swoosh. This color combination mimics the KO Low composition introduced in May of this year.
Mark your calendars because the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shadow” is set to release on May 10th, 2024. While you eagerly await its arrival, take a moment to appreciate the mock-up image of this highly anticipated pair below.
On a different note, rumors are circulating about a potential collaboration between Lil Yachty and Air Force 1. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting partnership.
