adidas Originals is set to launch the Adizero Goukana, a new silhouette inspired by its rich history of performance running shoes. Debuting in a vibrant yellow colorway this June, the Goukana promises to blend style and performance. The Adizero line began in 2008 and has evolved significantly over the years. The original model, the Adios, was famously worn by legendary runner Haile Gebrselassie during his record-breaking run at the Berlin Marathon. In 2024, adidas revisited the Adios with the Wales Bonner Neftenga release. The Goukana draws direct inspiration from this lineage, featuring similar design elements and the same yellow, silver, and black palette. Built with mesh and suede, it incorporates synthetic accents and boasts a chunky midsole equipped with LightStrike cushioning foam for optimal comfort.
