The adidas PowerPhase is making a notable comeback with a fresh style set to release in Spring 2025. Originally introduced in 1987 as an all-purpose training sneaker, the PowerPhase quickly faded into obscurity after its initial launch. However, it gained renewed popularity through collaborations, particularly the Yeezy line created by Kanye West. After being seemingly shelved for years following a short-lived revival, the sneaker is now re-emerging as a standalone model from adidas without the Yeezy branding. This new iteration features an all-suede upper in a soft “Grey Two” shade, complemented by an Off-White cupsole for a modern touch. The adidas PowerPhase “Alumina” releases on January 9th, 2025, at 10 am PST, priced at $110, and will be available at select retailers and on the official adidas website.
