Edison Chen and his CLOT label have collaborated with adidas to create a unique take on the classic Stan Smith silhouette. Following their recent ventures, which took a bold step away from Nike collaborations, CLOT is set to release the ‘Espadrille’ pack this summer. This innovative design draws inspiration from traditional espadrille shoes, featuring an esparto grass rope midsole that promises a soft and adaptable fit. Previously, similar adjustments were made in their Gazelle collaborations, presenting a more streamlined aesthetic to the original silhouettes.
The Espadrille pack will include two versions of the Stan Smith: one in classic white leather with vibrant green heel tabs, and another in an all-black suede design showcasing a chenille heel counter highlighted with bright green. Expected to launch in July 2025, specific pricing details are yet to be disclosed, leaving sneaker enthusiasts eagerly awaiting more information regarding availability.
