Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov continues to push the boundaries of sneaker design with his latest collaboration with Asics. Following a successful partnership that began in 2018, the two are set to launch the GEL-Kiril 3, the third iteration in their series. The GEL-Kiril line first debuted in early 2020, followed by the laceless Kiril 2 later that year, but fans have awaited this new release for five years. The GEL-Kiril 3 will maintain the FlyteFoam midsole known from its predecessors while introducing a fresh mesh and leather upper featuring innovative textures. Notably, it features a molded ridged toe box and water droplet-inspired grippy sidewalls. Launching in two stunning colorways — a combination of tan, black, and yellow, alongside black and navy blue — this model is anticipated to create significant buzz. A pre-release is scheduled for February 22nd, 2025, in London, followed by a global release on February 24th, 2025. While pricing details remain unknown, sneaker enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting this drop as it signifies another bold step in Kostadinov’s design evolution with Asics.
