This latest release, featured in a smooth ‘Light Mushroom’ colorway, is the result of the creative direction by Teddy Santis from ALD. Known for its iconic silhouette since its debut in 1990, the 997 model is now part of the limited Seasonal Collection that emphasizes high-quality craftsmanship and premium materials.
This new iteration showcases a sophisticated palette of neutral shades, with a grey mesh base complemented by shaggy and standard suede panels in rich browns. Light tan accents enhance the TPU eyestay features, while reflective silver trim subtly adorns the ankles and the signature N logos. The tongues are designed with exposed foam, adding to its retro charm.
Scheduled to launch on February 27, 2025, the New Balance 997 Made in USA ‘Light Mushroom’ will be available through the brand’s website and select retailers for $200. This release follows a wave of previous models that have revived the classic aesthetic, and sneaker enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting its arrival.
