Tip Top Shoes, one of New York City’s historic footwear retailers, is celebrating its 85th anniversary in 2025 with a special release in collaboration with adidas. Established in 1940, Tip Top has long been known for offering a diverse selection of footwear, from sneakers to dress shoes, and played a significant role in introducing popular global brands to the U.S. market.
The ’85’ Pack includes two iconic models: the SL72 and Handball Spezial. The SL72 features a dark red color scheme with a mix of nylon and suede, detailed with brogue perforations and jagged suede edges, reminiscent of classic dress shoes. The Handball Spezial, on the other hand, comes in a vibrant bright pink color with a knit construction that adds a colorful flair.
This special collection will be available at both Tip Top Shoes and their neighboring store, West NYC, starting April 26th, 2025, with prices set at $120 for the SL72 and $130 for the Handball Spezial. This release continues the legacy of innovation and style that Tip Top Shoes has fostered over its long history, making it a must-have for sneaker enthusiasts and collectors alike.
