Georgetown University, a longstanding partner of Nike Inc. and a prestigious member of the Jordan Brand’s exclusive college program, is gearing up for the upcoming 2023-24 collegiate basketball season. The women’s basketball team has received a range of exclusive apparel and footwear from the iconic Jumpman banner.
On the hardwood, the Hoyas have been gifted Player Exclusive pairs of two highly sought-after sneakers: the Air Jordan 38 and the Jordan Tatum 1. Both shoes proudly display the recognizable Georgetown branding, demonstrating the deep connection between the university and Jordan Brand. Jayson Tatum’s signature silhouette, the Jordan Tatum 1, features a splatter graphic on the upper, a design element shared by other Jordan-sponsored programs.
Off the court, the women’s program has received a selection of recently released lifestyle models, including the stylish Air Jordan 1 Low Craft in the “Grey/Black” colorway and the 2021 retro edition of the beloved Air Jordan 11 in “Cool Grey.” Additionally, the collection features sneakers such as the Jordan Stadium 90, which boasts a vibrant “Royal Blue” swoosh, and the Jordan 88 Racer, perfect for both training and classroom activities.
While these exclusive sneakers may not see an official release to the public due to their specialized Georgetown branding and color schemes, sneaker enthusiasts can still appreciate and admire the unique collection curated specifically for the women’s basketball team.
For more exciting releases under the iconic Jumpman umbrella, mark your calendars for October 13th.
