Nike’s Sportswear division is on a roll with its green-centric treatment, much like Jordan Brand’s obsession with the “Lucky Green” theme. Following the release of the Air Force 1 Low and an upcoming Air Max 97, the Nike Air Max Plus now joins the party as part of the “Malachite Green” series.
Initially, we thought the Air Max Plus would feature a classic gum outsole, but the official imagery reveals a monochromatic aesthetic instead. Jet-black shades dominate the shoe, creating a sleek all-over look from toe to heel. The crisp white midsole and profile swooshes add a touch of brightness, while the TPU strips feature a delightful color transition from green to black along the mid-foot shank. Exclusive “Malachite” shades bring life to the tongue tabs, inner lining, and the full-length Max Air cushioning system.
Take a moment to appreciate the stunning details of the Air Max Plus “Malachite” below as we eagerly await its release details.
In other sneaker news, the highly anticipated Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” is slated for a summer 2024 drop. Start saving up and marking your calendars because that’s a release you won’t want to miss!
